Meet the Elders

Phil Playfoot is married to Heather and they have four daughters.

He trained as a social worker and worked for 8 years in Social Services before spending time with 'Youth With A Mission'. He then worked for a local church and took on the leadership of Kings Church in 2003. Phil's passion is to see people excel with their gifts and released to follow their God-given dreams so the world can be transformed.

The occasional game of golf, and mountain and coastal walks are welcome treats. 

Doug Curties worked in the City of London for 35 years. He was involved in underwriting aviation risks in the Lloyds of London Insurance Market. He took early retirement in April 2003 in order to be more involved in the life of the church and the community. He is currently chairman of the Horsham Community Debt Advice Service in addition to various responsibilities in the church. He is married to Brenda, has two children, Mark and Emma, and enjoys jogging (slowly!), travelling, jazz and sleeping but is not known for his D.I.Y. skills.

Andy Robinson is the driving force behind the youth work at Kings Church Horsham. He is passionate about providing young people with opportunities to experience the powerful reality of Jesus Christ in everyday life, and challenges them to be salt and light everyday and everywhere! Andy is married to Hazel and they have two boys, Tom and Eddie.
