Children of any adults attending the Sunday morning meeting are welcome to take their children to the activities provided for under 5's following a time of worship with the rest of the church. The activities are Creche (0-2years) and Minimix (3-5years) which run from 10.55am until 12.15pm. If your baby is under 6 months of age we ask you to stay with them.
Crèche
In crèche we encourage children to play freely for most of the session. The helpers will play with them or read to them. Part way through the morning we have a short Bible story which is followed by a drink and a biscuit. There is an opportunity for older children to take part in an activity, usually one connected with the story. We also include a time of singing and playing percussion instruments.
Minimix
Minimix has been created to provide a special time for children from age 3 to reception age inclusive. Each morning we have a variety of activities which can include games, crafts, free play, Bible story time, prayer time and puppets.
Child Protection
The Church has its own Child Protection Policy. Every Leader and Helper involved in Youth and Children's work has read and agreed to work according to the policy guidelines and have undertaken a Criminal Records Bureau check in accordance with CCPAS recommendations.
