 | No Parking | Doug Curties | | | | Doug spoke on forgiveness. He spoke about why we have to forgive and what forgiveness isn't. The fruit of unforgiveness is bitterness, hatred and anger. He explained what forgiveness is and how we can deal with the memories of these experiences. In order to forgive yourself you must stand on the word of God and put yourself in that place where you receive the love of the Father who keeps no record of wrongs. | |
| | Stop, Look, Listen, Jump | Andy Robinson | | | | Andy revisits John 4 and the woman at the well and looks at what lessons we can learn from Jesus. Jesus listened to the Holy Spirit and took an unorthodox route to his destination and never stopped listening! This resulted in the supernatural revelation into the life of this woman, her salvation and the salvation of the entire town!
Andy examines 4 key things that Jesus did in that interacton and asks us how we can learn to Stop, Look, Listen and JUMP! | |
| | Hearts prepared for the supernatural | Phil Playfoot | | | | Phil spoke on how John the Baptist came to prepare for Jesus' life transforming power, by calling on people to "make straight the way for the Lord". He reflected on how the the christian life starts with repentance but then how this has to be a part of an everyday heart attitude. He looked at the joy, healing and encouragement that comes from godly sorrow and contrasted this with the emptiness of 'worldly sorrow'. | |
| | One Life | Martin Dalton | | | Audio Recordings | | Downloads: | 52 | | Recorded: | 14/02/2010 | | Length: | 55 minutes | | Reference: | John 12:24-26 |

| | 'Everything' conference | New Frontiers | | | | A video about Everything conference on 27th March. | |
| | Expanding Your Comfort Zone | Andy Robinson | | | | Andy looks at the story of the Samaritan woman at the well. He asks us to consider that before the encounter at the well was a Holy Spirit encounter where Jesus asked "Which way to walk to Cana?". Rather than the religiously acceptable route for Jews at the time Jesus went through Samaria making him "unclean" according to Jewish tradition, but He was willing to risk all that in order the reach the lost. Andy asks are we willing to take time to ask the Holy Spirit and then take a risk and do it? | |
| | Who on earth am I? | Phil Playfoot | | | | Phil spoke on how in becoming Christians our thinking must be transformed to line up with the reality that we are utterly new people. Our true identity and nature is that we are born of the Holy Spirit and are children of God. He considered the privileges and promises that come with that and how our thinking about ourselves, shaped by our past, the media or what others say, can rob us of the life God has for us. | |
| | Living Beyond Limits (or 3 ways to avoid being ordinary!) | Doug Curties | | | Audio Recordings | | Downloads: | 53 | | Recorded: | 24/01/2010 | | Length: | 45 minutes | | Reference: | Jeremiah : |
| | Doug spoke about increasing our capacity, increasing our concerns and increasing our cry! He spoke on how disappointment can be an instrument in character building. He emphasised that we need to be people who stand on the word of God and that we need to grow in our passion for God. | |
| | Extravagant Worship | Phil Playfoot | | | | Phil talks about the story of Mary who poured expensive perfume over Jesus' feet. He speaks about the goal of worship being to honour Jesus. Jesus is looking for those who will worship Him in Spirit and in truth. He deserves extravagant worship because He is extravagant in every quality. God is looking for worship to be authentic, genuine, Spirit filled and from the heart. | |
